This has to be one of the lamest titles I've ever put to a drawing of mine.
After my experiment with the Luke Von Fabre drawing (the colored outlines) I decided to do it again. I used a new pic of Kasumi, from the "Dead of Alive" fighting series. This time it's drawn by hand.
I think it looks pretty nice, eventhough I had to fix it a little bit with Photoshop because the colors lost some deepness with the scanning.
The two things that could have been better are the eyes and the... skirt? It's supposed to have a embroidery of a crane on it, but I couldn't find any good images for reference, so I decided to leave a plain blue.
Other thing is that I should have put Kasumi's name (the japanese characters) in other place. Like this they look like if Kasumi was pointing to it, or like if the characters were coming out from the tip of her fingers... weird.
And by the way, I've changed my signature sightly. Basically I did it with quick strokes, instead of slow ones, like if I was writing them normally. I like how it looks, so I guess I will make my artistic signature like that from now on.
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
